Ornament:
Design of a Brand

 

Ornament was born out of a brand design class project. It entailed the creation of a brand from scratch, from a brand promise and message to its design and outward face. Ornament was initially a jewelry/accessory brand, which then pivoted to include the featuring of small artists within its platform.

Creating Ornament was an incredibly involved and dynamic process. Understanding how an audience would respond to the identity and message the brand communicated was crucial, and this feedback was incorporated into every step. Due to the constantly changing nature of what it means to be a brand, I made choices to add to and elevate Ornament’s features and design at several stages.
