livia lemgruber

A promotional campaign for independent bookstores in and around Boston.

I created this campaign as my Design Degree Project in 2024. It was a tribute to my favorite places to visit, in Boston and everywhere else: bookstores.

The campaign included:

A zine that included the map, and a detailed list of the bookstores. The zine was distributed to many of the stores, to be given freely to visitors.

A large-scale map of all 28 bookstores included

A prototyped website with event calendar and interactive map

Bookmarks made with a Risograph printer

A “bookstore passport,” where users could register their visits to bookstores and mark them with “stamp” stickers
